Who this privacy policy covers
This privacy policy explains what happens to data when you visit FaceShapeFinder.pro. It covers the website only. We collect as little as we can: there are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no comments.
Your photos and camera stay on your device
The face shape detector runs entirely in your browser. When you choose a photo or turn on your camera, the image is read by JavaScript in the page and analysed by face models that your browser downloads from this site. The photo, the camera frames, the facial landmarks and the measurements are processed only in your browser’s memory. They are never uploaded to us or anyone else, never stored on a server and never used to identify you. Closing or reloading the page clears them.
Camera access is requested only when you press “Use camera”, and the camera is switched off as soon as the capture is done or you cancel. You can revoke camera permission at any time in your browser settings.
Biometric data
Because face measurements never leave your device, we do not collect, receive, store or share biometric identifiers or biometric information. We do not perform face recognition, and the tool cannot tell who is in a photo.
The face shape calculator
Numbers you type into the calculator are processed in the page and are not sent anywhere.
What we collect
We do not ask for your name or contact details. If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.
Messages to our contact address are forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to a Gmail inbox, so Cloudflare and Google process them on our behalf. We do not add your address to any mailing list.
Fonts
Pages load their fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser requests them from Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. See the Google Privacy Policy.
Hosting logs
The site, including the face model files, is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes standard request data (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) to serve the site and protect it from abuse. Downloading a model file does not send any image data. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and the device and country they come from. Clarity uses cookies and can record anonymous replays of a visit. The face shape tool area is masked in these recordings, and photos are never part of them. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Cookies
FaceShapeFinder.pro itself does not set cookies. Third-party services named above may set their own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the tools work without them.
Who we share data with
Only the service providers named in this policy, and only for the purpose described. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. These providers may process data outside your country, under their own safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep data
Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and then deleted within 12 months. Hosting logs are kept by Cloudflare for a short period for security. Photos and measurements are never kept, because they never leave your browser.
Your rights and choices
You can ask us what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it is used, by emailing us. We reply within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Please only analyse photos of yourself, or of others with their permission.
Changes to this privacy policy
We may update this privacy policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
