Terms of Use
Last updated: November 8, 2026
Summary of these terms of use
These terms of use apply to everyone who visits FaceShapeFinder.pro. In short: the tools are free, they run in your browser, the results are style guidance rather than professional or medical advice, and you should only analyse photos you have the right to use. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
About this site
FaceShapeFinder.pro is an independent website with free tools for finding your face shape: a photo-based face shape detector, a face shape calculator and guides for the seven common face shapes. It is free to use and does not require an account. It is not affiliated with Google, MediaPipe, or any salon, eyewear or cosmetics brand.
Results are guidance
The face shape detector estimates proportions from a photo. Camera angle, lens distortion, lighting, hair, expression, filters and image quality all affect the measurements, and face shape categories have no sharp borders. The result is an estimate and the styling suggestions are general ideas. They are not professional, cosmetic or medical advice. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on a result, such as a haircut, a purchase or a cosmetic procedure.
Photos you analyse
Only analyse photos of yourself, or of other people who have agreed to it. Do not use the tools to analyse photos of children without a parent’s consent, or to make judgements about people that could harm them. Because photos are processed only on your device, you remain responsible for the images you choose to open.
Camera use
The detector asks for camera access only when you press “Use camera”. The video stays on your device and the camera is turned off once the capture is finished or you cancel.
What the tools do not do
The tools do not identify people, rate attractiveness, or estimate age, gender or ethnicity, and must not be used to try to do so.
Availability
We may change, add or remove tools at any time, for example to improve accuracy or when browsers change. Results can change between versions as the measurement improves. We try to keep existing page addresses working.
Third-party software
The detector uses open-source software and models, including Google’s MediaPipe, under their respective licenses. Brand and product names mentioned on the site belong to their owners.
Our content
The text, tools, illustrations and design of FaceShapeFinder.pro are our own work. You may link to any page and quote short parts with a link back. Please do not copy whole pages or republish the tools as your own. You may share screenshots of your own results freely.
Acceptable use
Do not try to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests, copy the model files for redistribution, or use the site for anything unlawful. We may block access from sources that do.
Advertising and links
The site may show advertising and link to other sites. We are not responsible for the content, products or privacy practices of other sites or advertisers.
No warranty
The site is provided as is, without any warranty. We do our best to keep the tools accurate and available, but we do not promise that they will always be correct, complete or online. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site.
Changes to these terms of use
We may update these terms of use. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use of the site means you accept it.
